Tee, I'm sure you're right. My plumbing is pretty old (no, people, my *apartment* plumbing), so that could have been a factor.

All I know if that the Tenga was over the faucet turned up on high, not a drop of water spilled out, but my ankles were suddenly wet from water coming out somewhere else down the line.. Was too busy mopping up to investigate further.

I think the quality of experience greatly depends on the kind of lube used - I noticed that the lube Tenga comes with is much more dense than the usual water based lubes - almost a gel. When retried with a standard lube, honey reported it was not nearly as much fun. Finding a thicker lube might be worth a try.

Another great development: Reusable Tengas (Tenga Flip) & even better, Tenga WARMERS have finally made it to the US! Considering how cold & clammy the thing is when you're getting started, a warmer would be a worthwhile investment.

By the way, you can *never* be too geeky on me! Just the phrase itself gives me a pleasant little shiver. Got this ole brains fetish, you know.

Just got one from GV, and you are right these things feel better than anything I've ever tried, truly addictive. Wow. But as someone who has studied fluid dynamics in class I find it hard to believe that this thing INCREASED the pressure in the pipes enough over the static pressure to cause them to leak, unless the pipes were already leaky. Even if it sealed perfectly and filled perfectly it would just contain the same pressure as what was in the pipes before the valve was turned on.

I tried taking it apart to clean, and was successful but unknowingly ripped the seam where the latex is press-fit to the outside shell, not realizing I should have just reached my finger in and pushed it out. So now I just use the latex part without the foam or shell, and it's much better than regualr wanking, but not quite as good as a fresh Tenga.

Anyway, sorry to go all geeky on you, back to the enjoyement...
